Leasing Professional – Capital Place Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional will lead marketing, leasing, and renewal efforts for the Capital Place community, a stabilized garden‑style property with 216 units. This full‑time role focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue, and resident‑retention targets through proactive leasing activities and exceptional resident service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, show apartments, and process applications, credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease documents, move‑in packages, and ensure a smooth resident move‑in experience.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, confirm readiness, and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community policies on concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing via Craigslist, Facebook, email, and other platforms.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Availability to work Monday‑Friday, 9 am‑6 pm with rotating weekends.
• Ability to perform all sales and leasing activities from prospect qualification to lease signing.
• Strong attention to detail for apartment inspections and move‑in readiness.
• Proactive approach to market research and marketing plan implementation.
• Competence in using property management software for data tracking and reporting.
