Leasing Manager – Slate at Merrimack

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Manager for the Slate at Merrimack community. The role oversees marketing, advertising, sales activities and the leasing team to meet revenue, occupancy and resident retention goals.

Key responsibilities

• Direct community marketing, advertising and sales efforts, manage on‑site traffic, set rent pricing, concessions and ensure a ready inventory of apartments.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and create pricing and incentive strategies to boost traffic and leases.
• Design print and internet advertising campaigns, use property‑management software to generate leasing reports and track results.
• Collaborate with maintenance to maintain community appearance, inspect “ready” units, create mini‑models and other merchandising techniques.
• Participate in the leasing process: generate traffic, qualify prospects, prepare lease documents and complete move‑in procedures.
• Analyze financial, traffic and closing reports to identify performance issues and present findings to owners and managers.
• Oversee lease renewal program, coordinate resident renewal events and manage move‑out assistance.
• Supervise leasing staff: recruit, hire, train and evaluate performance in line with company policies.

Required profile

• All state and local licenses or certifications required for leasing positions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders and lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays, and to be on call as needed.
