Leasing Manager – Haven at Elgin Student Living

About the role

The Leasing Manager will lead marketing, advertising, and leasing activities for the Haven at Elgin student‑living community. This position ensures revenue and occupancy targets are met while maintaining high standards of resident experience and property presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Direct community marketing, print and internet advertising, and sales initiatives to achieve revenue and occupancy goals.
• Monitor on‑site traffic, maintain an inventory of ready‑to‑lease apartments, set rent pricing, concessions, and leasing incentives.
• Analyze market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and implement creative pricing strategies.
• Utilize property‑management software to generate sales and leasing reports, track traffic, and evaluate performance metrics.
• Collaborate with maintenance to ensure property appearance, safety, and readiness of units, including staging and merchandising.
• Participate actively in the leasing process: qualify prospects, prepare lease documents, and oversee move‑in procedures.
• Review financial, traffic, and closing‑ratio reports to inform decision‑making.

Required profile

• Experience in leasing, property management, or student‑housing environments.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics and ability to develop effective marketing plans.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
