Leasing Consultant – West Miami

About the role

The Leasing Consultant will drive marketing, leasing and renewal activities for a West Miami property, ensuring occupancy, revenue and resident retention goals are met. The role serves as the primary point of contact for prospective residents and supports existing residents throughout their lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Design and execute marketing events, resident referral programs and employer outreach to generate traffic.
• Utilize the property management software and CRM to track availability, record leasing activity and analyze demographic data.
• Maintain show units to Greystar standards, coordinate maintenance needs and ensure a welcoming leasing office.
• Follow up with prospects and new residents within 24 hours and manage the lease renewal process according to the AA renewal playbook.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner inquiries, resolve issues and document all interactions.

Required profile

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality or related field preferred.
• 1‑3 years of experience in leasing, sales, marketing or customer service.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a golf cart on the property.

Required skills

• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and property‑management applications.
• Experience using CRM and internet marketing tools for lead generation.
• Ability to collect, manage and analyze resident and prospect data.
