Learning Partner, Program Management & Facilitation

About the role

Horizon Media, a marketing and advertising firm founded in 1989 with headquarters in New York City and offices in Los Angeles and Toronto, is hiring a Learning Partner for its Learning & Development team. The role contributes to designing and delivering engaging learning experiences focused on core professional skills, supports program logistics, facilitates sessions, customizes content for learners, collects data and acts as a learning liaison to specific teams or functions. The position is listed as hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business units to understand needs and support learning customizations
• Contribute to instructional design and content development (slides, guides, toolkits)
• Assist with delivery of learning programs, workshops and cohort sessions, virtual and in person
• Facilitate live workshops and trainings for smaller teams and groups
• Customize learning materials based on learner feedback and business needs
• Collect and synthesize participant feedback to inform continuous improvement
• Support communication and logistics with L&D Ops and business partners
• Collaborate cross-functionally to keep learners engaged and identify operational and content gaps

Required profile

• 3+ years in Learning & Development, facilitation or instructional design
• Strong communicator who can manage relationships with candidates and hiring managers independently
• Problem solver who knows when to escalate situations to management
• Detail oriented, organized and able to handle several requisitions at once
• Team player with business maturity, willing to roll up sleeves and partner with colleagues
• Advocate for and supporter of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Required skills

• Comfortable facilitating in front of groups and adapting content in real time
• Instructional design and facilitation

• Salary range of $66,300 to $85,000, depending on skills, experience and qualifications
