Multi-Sport Coach

About the role

Amazing Athletes, founded in 2003 and serving more than 50,000 children each year, is looking for coaches for its multi-sport enrichment program. Coaches work 5 to 25 classes per week, using a non-competitive, positive-reinforcement approach so every child succeeds in a fun, stress-free environment. Ready-made curriculums and extensive training help new coaches get up to speed quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Show up on time to class and be prepared, including commuting to class
• Interact daily with parents, teachers, directors and children
• Teach and run classes in an organized, structured and fun way
• Stay outgoing and energetic during every class
• Keep children safe and supervised while they are under your care
• Maintain up-to-date class rosters and submit accurate pay stubs to management

Required profile

• Passion for sports, fitness and working with children
• At least 18 years old
• Able to pass a background check
• Background in fitness or working with children is a plus (e.g., athletics, sports, dance, cheer, gymnastics, martial arts, exercise science, kinesiology, physical education, camp counselor, substitute teacher)
