Learning Coach (Co-Teacher) for MicroSchool

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Learning Coach (Co‑Teacher) to work on‑site at our Phoenix MicroSchool. The coach will support students attending a RISE Institute MicroSchool, helping them stay engaged, complete assignments, and thrive in a faith‑aligned learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Help students stay focused and on task during virtual classes.
• Provide homework assistance, ensuring understanding and completion of assignments.
• Support live online teaching sessions with note‑taking, clarifying instructions, and promoting respectful behavior.
• Maintain a calm, organized classroom grounded in Islamic values of discipline and kindness.
• Assist with differentiated instruction for diverse learners.
• Prepare materials and organize resources for student learning support.
• Plan and lead small‑group Friday activities, hands‑on learning experiences, physical education sessions, and Islamic projects.
• Collaborate with lead virtual teachers and parents, sharing updates and concerns promptly.

Required profile

• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting (preferred).
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Basic understanding of Islamic values, practices, and terminology.
• Energetic, patient, and committed to fostering a positive Islamic learning environment.
