Lead Sensors Engineer

About the role

Sabi is building a next‑generation AI‑powered wearable that reads neural signals in real time. As Lead Sensors Engineer you will own the full non‑EEG sensor system for a sensor‑rich textile beanie, from architecture through hardware and algorithms, and guide the product to market by year‑end.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and R&D of the non‑EEG sensing suite, focusing on optical PPG and SpO₂.
• Design, select, and evaluate all sensors (optical, inertial, temperature, environmental) and own BOM and second‑source strategy.
• Develop heart‑rate and HRV algorithms that remain accurate during motion.
• Define sensor‑fusion approaches and specify electrical, mechanical, and firmware interfaces.
• Partner with AI/ML, reliability, and product design teams, and lead technical reviews and documentation.

Required profile

• 10+ years in sensor or hardware development for consumer wearables with at least one shipped product.
• Deep expertise in optical PPG front‑end design and motion‑robust heart‑rate/HRV algorithms.
• Strong analog front‑end background, low‑power sensing, and hands‑on lab experience.
