Lead Security Metrics Analyst

About the role

Mastercard’s Corporate Security team is seeking a Lead Security Metrics Analyst to drive the development, collection, analysis, and reporting of cybersecurity metrics. The role supports risk management, regulatory compliance, and executive decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and governance of security metrics, KRIs, and KPIs across Corporate Security domains.
• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting products.
• Build and support Dataverse solutions, including Power Apps and Power Automate, to streamline metric collection and reporting.
• Partner with security, risk, compliance, and operational teams to translate reporting requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Develop and maintain metric methodologies, centralized repositories, and governance documentation.
• Analyze security and operational data to identify trends, emerging risks, and process improvement opportunities.
• Drive automation initiatives to improve data quality and reporting efficiency.
• Support regulatory remediation, audit activities, and risk governance forums.
• Present metric methodologies and risk insights to executive stakeholders.

Required profile

• Experience developing enterprise metrics, KRIs, KPIs, and executive reporting solutions.
• Strong knowledge of information security, technology risk management, governance, compliance, and regulatory reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, Security+, CRISC, or equivalent.
