About the role

Join Mastercard’s Security Engineering & Enablement team for a summer internship focused on cybersecurity, technology, and business strategy. You will work on real‑world projects that help newly acquired companies integrate securely into Mastercard.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess security risks and emerging technologies for acquisitions.
  • Help shape integration roadmaps and solve real‑world security challenges.

Required profile

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Cybersecurity, graduating Dec 2027–Jun 2028.
  • Demonstrated interest in cybersecurity through coursework, projects, or extracurriculars.
  • Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship.

Required skills

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, risk management, security operations, and network security.
  • Foundational understanding of AI concepts and emerging technologies.
