About the role

Shields Health Solutions is seeking a Lead Pharmacy Technician to join its specialty pharmacy team in Orlando, FL. You will work onsite in a hospital clinic, helping patients adhere to medication regimens and providing personalized pharmacy services.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinic teams to deliver hands‑on patient care.
• Educate patients on pharmacy services and process specialty and retail prescriptions.
• Conduct refill reminders, resolve insurance issues, and assist with financial assistance programs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• State‑registered Pharmacy Technician (CPhT/ExCPT required).
• Minimum 2 years of pharmacy‑technician experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork mindset.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
