Lead Maintenance Technician – Silver

About the role

This position leads the performance of technical and mechanical work to ensure that units, buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and complete work orders from resident service requests and preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and performing repairs in line with policies, timelines, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Oversee the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage, returning items, and ordering replacements as needed.
• Conduct inspections using Leonardo 247, Entrata, and other platforms, ensuring compliance with code, regulation, and company policy.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities through trash removal, pressure washing, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs with strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and handle a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• EPA Type I, Type II, or Universal certification for refrigerant recycling and any state‑required licenses.
