About the role

The Lead Infant Teacher provides safe, nurturing care and education for infants aged 6 weeks to 12 months at Citizens Clubhouse, a on‑site childcare center serving hospital staff. This full‑time position involves supervising staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a supportive environment for children and families.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor safety of children at all times.
• Enforce KDHE regulations and guidelines.
• Mentor and coach teachers, providing constructive feedback.
• Organize classroom events, tours, and parent communications.
• Maintain accurate records of children’s paperwork, immunizations, and financials via HiMama.
• Complete director and managerial duties as required.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Self‑starter, team player with a positive attitude.
• Ability to adhere to state regulations and create a safe, nurturing environment.
• Reliability, punctuality, and professional conduct.

Required skills

• Knowledge of infant development.
• Understanding of behavior management techniques.
