Lead Design Operations Project Manager

About the role

3M is seeking a Lead Design Operations Project Manager to drive global packaging artwork projects from concept through production and print. You will work with cross‑functional teams and external agencies to ensure brand consistency, regulatory compliance, and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of packaging artwork projects ranging from simple updates to complex global redesigns.
• Manage creative and design adaptation work, ensuring artwork aligns with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with marketing, manufacturing, packaging engineering, regulatory, and external printing partners.
• Control project budgets, timelines, and estimates while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Proofread and validate artwork, die lines, color specifications, and printing methods.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Minimum five years of project management experience in packaging production art within corporate, agency, or printing environments.
• At least five years of experience in the consumer packaging industry.
• Strong problem‑solving and collaboration skills with a focus on brand integrity.
