Lawn Care Foreman – Full‑Time, Year‑Round

About the role

DeHamer Landscaping is seeking an experienced Lawn Care Foreman to lead a crew delivering high‑quality turf maintenance year‑round. The role combines hands‑on lawn care with crew leadership, training and daily route coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a lawn care crew on daily routes, planning loading and unloading of trucks and equipment.
• Schedule, prioritize and coordinate tasks to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Train, coach and enforce safety, quality and performance standards for crew members.
• Perform and oversee mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, weed whipping and seasonal clean‑ups.
• Inspect work for quality, identify turf health or irrigation issues, and report findings.
• Communicate professionally with customers, address concerns and relay progress to management.
• Enforce safety policies, operate and maintain lawn care equipment, and complete daily reports.
• Assist with snow removal and other seasonal services as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of lawn care or landscape maintenance experience.
• Previous crew leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of turf maintenance practices and equipment operation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 lb.
