Landscape Construction Foreman (Year‑Round, Full‑Time)

About the role

The Construction Landscape Foreman leads and executes high‑quality landscape construction projects, focusing on installations, grading, drainage, and retaining wall work. This on‑site leader oversees daily production, safety, craftsmanship, and crew development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and manage a crew of 2–5+ members, fostering a positive culture and clear communication.
• Plan and coordinate daily job‑site activities, read and interpret landscape drawings, grades, and elevations.
• Perform and supervise site layout, grading, drainage, erosion control, and softscape installations.
• Operate and train crew on skid steers, trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
• Serve as primary on‑site contact, reporting progress, material needs, and issues to management.
• Track materials, enforce safety policies, and continuously improve site processes.

Required profile

• 2+ years of landscape construction experience with emphasis on softscape work.
• Experience leading crews or serving as a foreman (preferred).
• Proficiency in grading, drainage, planting, sod, and retaining wall construction.
• Ability to read and interpret landscape plans, grades, and elevations.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Valid clean driver’s license (CDL Class A preferred) and ability to work outdoors in varying weather.
