About the role
Amazing Athletes, a multi-sport enrichment program founded in 2003 and serving over 50,000 children each year, is looking for coaches for its program in Richmond. Coaches work with children using individual attention, a non-competitive approach and positive reinforcement to make classes fun and stress-free.
Key responsibilities
- Teach children in multi-sport enrichment classes, following the ready-made curriculum provided.
- Work 5 to 25 classes per week, earning $20 per hour, with the possibility of earning up to $25 per hour.
- Follow the Amazing Athletes Coaching Manual and curriculum requirements, attend trainings and stay open to feedback.
Required profile
- Availability for the majority of classes, which are held in the mornings and early afternoons and on weekends.
- Ideal availability: Monday to Friday 9:00-11:00 am and 3:00-5:00 pm, and weekends 8:00-1:00 pm.
