Journeyman Electrician

About the role

Dubak Electrical Group LLC is expanding and seeks an experienced Journeyman Electrician to work on industrial projects. The ideal candidate has a strong background in industrial electrical systems, including power, controls, and instrumentation.

Key responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and repair electrical power, control and instrument systems on industrial sites.
• Work with voltage levels up to 4160 V, including 110 V, 440 V, 460 V motors and variable frequency drives.
• Fabricate and install conduit racking, EMT and rigid conduit.
• Install and calibrate process control instrumentation and PLC‑based control systems.
• Perform electrical preventative maintenance and read/modify blueprints, P&ID, single‑line and wiring schematics.

Required profile

• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.
• Commitment to personal and team safety, using required PPE.
• Strong analytical abilities and ability to travel for short periods.

Required skills

• PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Variable frequency drive installation and maintenance.
• Conduit fabrication and installation.
• Electrical testing and calibration equipment usage.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, P&ID and wiring schematics.
