About the role

Infosys is seeking a Java Scala Developer to join its Financial Services unit in Jersey City, NJ. You will work on digital transformation projects for banks, wealth managers and insurers, leveraging AI, cloud and data‑driven innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Document and refine business requirements as part of the elicitation process.
• Participate in design discussions, capture decisions and guide the technical team.
• Develop new features and integrate updates into existing Java/Scala applications while ensuring system stability.
• Conduct code reviews, maintain repositories and implement test strategies.
• Analyze test results, coordinate bug fixes and uphold software quality standards.
• Create user training materials, documentation and support frameworks for smooth application roll‑outs.
• Assist in resolving production issues and propose preventive measures to improve reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code changes, testing techniques and support activities.

Required profile

• Strong collaborative spirit with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end SDLC phases from requirement gathering to implementation.
• Capability to translate complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Passion for working on AI‑enabled financial services solutions.
