Java Developer – Plano, TX

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Java Developer to join its Financial Services unit in Plano, Texas. You will work on innovative AI‑driven solutions for banking, wealth management and insurance clients, contributing to digital transformation projects across the sector.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct interviews and workshops to capture user requirements and document stakeholder needs.
• Participate in design discussions, create process documentation and translate specifications into code.
• Develop, refine and document new software applications following detailed design specifications.
• Execute test plans, analyse results, report defects and support performance enhancements.
• Assist with integration of new features and ensure smooth transitions within existing systems.
• Monitor live applications, troubleshoot issues promptly and maintain comprehensive documentation for ongoing maintenance.
