Jardinero – Mantenimiento de áreas verdes

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Gardener to maintain the green zones of a free‑trade area and its surrounding community. The role involves daily upkeep of lawns, shrubs, trees and related facilities according to a yearly work schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Mow lawns using a motorized mower, tractor‑mounted mower and float mower.
• Clean gardens, remove weeds and debris.
• Trim hedges and prune shrubs, bushes and trees.
• Perform tree pruning and cut dry palm fronds.
• Spray all green areas and apply fertilizers.
• Maintain and clean outdoor furniture, umbrellas and dining tables.
• Service and clean fountains and other water features.
• Collect and dispose of waste from bins and work areas, keep containers clean.
• Ensure irrigation systems are functional and water plants lacking automatic irrigation.
• Plant new trees and shrubs when required.
• Support other departments as needed.
• Clean and maintain equipment after each use and keep storage areas tidy.
• Report any equipment malfunction or facility issues.

Required profile

• Completed at least sixth grade (desired).
• Prior experience in garden or landscape maintenance (desired).
• Knowledge of plant fertilizers (desired).

Required skills

• Operation of motorized lawn mower and tractor‑mounted mower.
• Use of float mower and hedge‑trimming equipment.
• Application of spray equipment for fertilization and pest control.
• Basic maintenance of irrigation systems.
• Ability to clean and maintain garden tools and equipment.
