Italian Instructor

About the role

The Italian Instructor will deliver high‑quality language lessons to private and group students at the Berlitz Learning Center in Vienna, as well as off‑site locations or virtually. Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager and Academic Specialist, the instructor supports students while adhering to Berlitz teaching principles.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Italian lessons in‑person or online, focusing on student goals, needs and interests.
• Conduct level assessments and needs‑analyses as assigned.
• Maintain up‑to‑date pedagogical and attendance records.
• Participate in regular coaching sessions with the Academic Specialist.
• Complete training and professional‑development modules on the @Berlitz Learning platform.
• Integrate learning technology and share teaching resources.
• Perform additional duties delegated by the Service Delivery Manager or Academic Specialist.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to speak English.
• Excellent communication and basic administrative skills.
• Flexibility with work hours and availability.

Required skills

• Basic computer knowledge for lesson delivery and record keeping.
