IT Technician Fab Support

About the role

The Fab IT Support function is embedded within Bosch's semiconductor manufacturing facility, ensuring continuous system availability and production uptime in a cleanroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and provision new computers and IT hardware in the fab while adhering to cleanroom protocols.
• Provide immediate high‑priority troubleshooting for production‑critical systems to maintain 24/7 wafer‑processing operations.
• Manage incidents, service requests and hardware lifecycle tickets using ITSM platforms such as Jira Service Management, ServiceNow or Remedy.
• Maintain accurate IT inventory, track hardware lifecycle, and monitor server performance, capacity and health.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 1 year of experience in systems support, IT operations or manufacturing IT environments.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical issues to engineers and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Hardware deployment and troubleshooting in cleanroom settings.
• ITIL framework knowledge and incident/problem/change management.
• Experience with Jira Service Management, ServiceNow or Remedy.
