IT Specialist – Tier 2

About the role

The IT Specialist – Tier 2 provides advanced technical support and operational assistance across the firm’s IT environment. Reporting to the IT Director, the role handles complex hardware, software and network issues while helping to maintain, secure and enhance systems and endpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as Tier 2 escalation point, resolving issues not addressed by Tier 1 support.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity, server and system performance problems.
• Administer user accounts, permissions and security groups across applications.
• Support endpoint management for Windows and mobile devices, including patching and configuration.
• Perform data backup validation, disaster‑recovery testing and assist with security remediation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Security or related field.
• 2–4 years of professional IT support or systems administration experience.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues.
