IT Specialist – Entry Level

About the role

TechServ is looking for an enthusiastic IT Specialist to join its growing team. This entry‑level position offers on‑the‑job training and the chance to develop technical expertise while supporting the company’s IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Assist users with account setup, password resets, and basic system configurations.
• Provide first‑level technical support for hardware and software issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components.
• Perform routine system checks and updates to ensure optimal performance.
• Identify and resolve technical problems, escalating when necessary.
• Collaborate with senior IT staff on complex troubleshooting.
• Create and maintain documentation for procedures and issue resolutions.
• Support IT projects and contribute to the knowledge base.
• Help implement and maintain security measures.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of IT concepts and principles.
• Familiarity with hardware components and peripherals.
• Knowledge of operating systems.
• Positive, friendly attitude with a desire to help others.
