IS EPIC Analyst Lead

About the role

The IS EPIC Analyst Lead guides an Epic analytical team in complex workflows, supporting and modifying Epic systems across the organization. This position drives execution of IS-wide projects, mentors analysts, and ensures consistent processes are followed.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the Epic analytical team in encoding, testing, debugging, and installing system elements.
• Coordinate team efforts for upgrades, implementations, and initiatives, setting timelines and assigning tasks.
• Mentor analysts, facilitate team meetings, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with operations, stakeholders, and IS team members to determine needs and deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum high school diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of Epic experience and an Epic certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication, critical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to travel between facilities and work flexible hours, including weekends and on‑call.

Required skills

• Epic system expertise (encoding, testing, debugging, implementation).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Agile Project Management.
