Investment Banking Associate – Power & Renewables

About the role

As an Associate in the Natural Resources group, you will support the full transaction cycle for power and renewable energy clients. You will prepare marketing pitches, conduct financial analysis, and present findings to internal committees and clients while mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Develop content for strategic client meetings covering M&A or capital market transactions.
• Interact daily with senior bankers and client management teams to execute transactions and discuss strategic alternatives.
• Define, guide and review detailed valuation analyses, including DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables and LBO models.
• Perform combination and other financial analyses for M&A pitches.
• Provide leadership, mentorship and supervision to analysts and junior associates.
• Participate in graduate recruiting activities.

Required profile

• Prior experience in an investment banking front‑office role.
• Academic background from a top‑tier university.
• Strong financial modelling capabilities.
• Understanding of the transaction cycle and execution‑focused mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with senior professionals and clients.
• Self‑directed, highly motivated and able to work independently.
