Investment Banking Analyst – M&A Private Capital Advisory

About the role

Join the Private Capital Advisory team within the M&A group, part of a global solutions practice that helps large corporates, sponsor‑owned companies and family businesses raise non‑control private capital. You will work on a variety of transactions, from equity to structured deals, across all sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with industry coverage teams to design optimal transaction structures and build financial models.
• Identify and engage the most suitable investor universe, managing outreach and ongoing dialogue.
• Prepare transaction marketing materials, term sheets and client presentations.
• Drive day‑to‑day execution from launch to signing, coordinating diligence, management interactions and internal workstreams.
• Analyze investor proposals, compare key terms and model returns under different structures.
• Support final negotiations and the preparation of client‑facing materials.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of full‑time investment banking experience, preferably in M&A or coverage groups with strong execution exposure.
• Strong interest in private capital markets, minority M&A and structured transactions.
• Enthusiasm for working across sectors and gaining exposure to a broad range of deal types.
