Inventory Logistics Manager

About the role

We are seeking a results‑driven Inventory Logistics Manager to oversee inventory control, warehouse operations, and supply‑chain processes. You will act as the primary liaison between Pilot Freight Services, customers, sales, and vendors, ensuring smooth product flow and high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily operations, process shipments, prepare paperwork, and dispatch drivers.
• Communicate freight status to customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Conduct ongoing process analysis to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Assist the District Manager with general tasks and cycle‑counting activities.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and corporate safety policies.
• Train, supervise, coach, and evaluate direct reports to maintain morale and performance.
• Review operational KPIs monthly and implement corrective actions.
• Operate forklifts for freight handling, load/off‑load trucks, and optimize routing.

Required profile

• Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, and supply‑chain coordination.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret financial statements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer‑service orientation and ability to work cross‑functionally.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency (must).
• Forklift operation certification.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and cycle‑counting processes.
