Inventory Control Specialist

About the role

Saronic Technologies is seeking a detail‑oriented Inventory Control Specialist to manage and optimise inventory processes for autonomous surface vessel production. The role ensures critical components are available, supports continuous manufacturing, and protects sensitive materials in a regulated defence environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/inventory systems and monitor safety stock, reorder points, and stock levels.
• Conduct regular cycle counts, physical inventories and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Track material movement across warehouses and production sites to ensure system accuracy.
• Collaborate with suppliers, procurement and logistics teams to resolve receiving issues and communicate inventory risks.
• Work with quality control to verify incoming material standards and ensure compliance with defence regulations and security protocols.
• Generate reports on stock levels, usage trends, turnover rates and support audit documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce carrying costs and enhance material visibility.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in manufacturing or defence.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on data accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
