Maintenance Technician

About the role

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support shipyard operations and ensure the reliability of a wide range of equipment. You will work on‑site, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on shipyard equipment such as telehandlers, forklifts, cherry pickers, manlifts, welding machines, power tools, and compressors.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime.
• Execute preventive maintenance programs and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Work safely at height (scaffold or manlifts) and in confined spaces, following all HSE policies.
• Collaborate with welders, fitters, pipefitters, electricians, and other trades to support vessel construction and repair.
• Support training and development of junior technicians.
