International Programs Ambassador (Paid Part‑time)

About the role

The International Programs office at Florida State University is seeking enthusiastic students who have studied abroad to serve as paid ambassadors. This part‑time role allows you to develop marketing, public‑speaking, and administrative skills while representing the program on campus and in the community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver presentations about study‑abroad experiences to classrooms, the Visitor Center, and during FSU Orientation.
• Represent International Programs at tabling events and other marketing activities.
• Provide front‑desk support: answer phones, greet visitors, and assist students and families.
• Assist the Passport Office with phone support and material preparation for passport processing.
• Contribute to digital marketing by taking photos, creating videos, and appearing on social media.
• Perform occasional tasks such as moving marketing materials, using a golf cart, and working outdoors.

Required profile

• Completed a study‑abroad program with International Programs.
• Current GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Availability to work 12‑15 hours per week (flexible around class schedule).
• Preference for students graduating Spring 2027 or later.
