International Development Manager – Latin America & Caribbean

About the role

Wendy’s is seeking an International Development Manager to lead new restaurant development across the Latin America & Caribbean (LAC) region. Based in South Florida, you will partner with franchisees to achieve opening targets and drive long‑term market growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full development pipeline, including site approvals, new store openings and closures through Wendy’s International CapCom process.
• Support franchisees through market visits, monthly calls and business reviews, ensuring compliance with Global Development Policies.
• Lead market mapping and identify Potential Trade Areas to sustain long‑term development, collaborating on market plans and pipeline alignment.
• Coordinate cross‑functional execution with Construction, Design and Operations to guide lease execution, design, construction, turnover and opening.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a corporate real‑estate environment.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively.
• Regional business, real‑estate or cultural experience in Latin America, including direct experience in South America.
• Willingness to travel up to 40 %.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using GIS tools.
• Knowledge of Oracle and other database systems.
