Internal Communications Manager, Search Ads and Consumer Shopping

About the role

Google’s Ads and Commerce (A&C) team is seeking an Internal Communications Manager to shape messaging for Search Ads and Consumer Shopping. You will partner with senior leaders to create engaging, purpose‑driven communications that connect employees worldwide to the business’s vision and impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute internal communications strategies for Search Ads and Ads on Google Experiences (SAGE) and Consumer Shopping.
• Produce executive communications, business‑update presentations, talking points, and employee‑engagement events.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners (PR, Policy, Legal, HR, Operations) across geographies to ensure consistent messaging.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible content for diverse audiences.
• Capture senior leaders’ unique voices and craft human‑focused stories that inspire and inform.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 4 years of internal and executive communications experience with technology products or services.
• Proven stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience in e‑commerce, digital advertising, or machine‑learning/AI (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to manage change communication with empathy.
• Strong writing ability for emails, scripts, and internal presentations.
• Detail‑oriented team player who meets tight deadlines.
