Interim FP&A Lead (6‑month contract)

About the role

OneDome, a fast‑growing UK property and mortgage group, is seeking an Interim FP&A Lead to build and operationalise its group operating forecast and drive the FY27 budget process. The role will run for an initial six‑month term with a possible three‑month extension, handing over a documented FP&A process to a permanent hire.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of the group operating forecast as the single source of truth for short‑range planning and reconcile it to actuals.
• Establish and run a monthly FP&A rhythm, including actual‑versus‑forecast analysis and scenario‑based reforecasting.
• Engage business owners to agree on planning assumptions, run review sessions and challenge inputs constructively.
• Design and execute the FY27 budget process end‑to‑end, managing timelines, inputs, and board approval.
• Document the model, monthly cycle and budget process to enable a smooth handover to a permanent FP&A hire.

Required profile

• Extensive FP&A experience with multi‑entity consolidation, three‑statement modelling and revenue forecasting.
• Proven track record of establishing FP&A functions in start‑up, scale‑up or acquisitive environments.
• Demonstrated ability to secure non‑finance leader ownership of assumptions and budgets.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills with strong data‑discipline.
• Available to start by October and able to commit to a six‑month interim assignment.
