Intelligence Analyst – Gaming Enforcement Division

About the role

The Attorney General’s Office is seeking a motivated Intelligence Analyst to support the Gaming Enforcement Division of the Criminal Bureau. Based in Boston, you will work closely with prosecutors, investigators, and law‑enforcement partners to uncover and disrupt gaming‑related criminal activity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and analyze tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence to aid investigations and prosecutions of gaming‑related crimes.
• Conduct complex research on illegal gambling organizations using telephone records, email, text, smartphone metadata, GPS, social media, and website logs.
• Collect, synthesize, and present data obtained through subpoenas or other sources, highlighting patterns and trends.
• Coordinate multi‑agency collaboration, manage project logistics, and deliver data‑driven briefings to attorneys and investigators.
• Produce pattern and multi‑target analyses across multiple data sets to generate investigative leads.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience as an Intelligence Analyst in law enforcement, military, or intelligence communities.
• Demonstrated interest in gaming enforcement and familiarity with related statutes.
• Experience reviewing raw data, digital forensic reports, CSLI/ping information, and multimedia metadata.
• Proven ability to synthesize data, prepare reports, and conduct multi‑target analysis.
