Integrated Communications Manager

About the role

The Integrated Communications Manager will lead the transformation of Macmillan Learning’s communication ecosystem, creating visual‑first storytelling and managing both internal and external channels. This role blends creativity, production, and strategy to ensure messages reach the right audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Create multimedia content such as social reels, short‑form explainers, and documentary‑style employee stories.
• Oversee content calendars and publishing rhythms for the intranet, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and internal newsletters.
• Prototype emerging formats like interactive video, AI avatars, and micro‑messaging.
• Track engagement metrics, build dashboards, and iterate content strategies based on performance data.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams to align communication initiatives with company goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of professional communications experience.
• Proven success managing content ecosystems across internal and external platforms.
• Strong editorial judgment and ability to tailor content for executive, employee, and public audiences.
• Independent work style with cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Fluency in visual storytelling and multimedia production.
• Experience using AI tools to enhance content speed, polish, and accessibility.
• Ability to interpret metrics, visualize insights, and adjust strategies accordingly.
