About the role
Our client, a large international law firm, is seeking a motivated attorney with 3–5 years of experience to handle insurance coverage litigation. The role involves drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and providing coverage opinions to clients.
Key responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, briefs, and correspondence for colleagues and clients.
- Analyze insurance policies, draft coverage opinions, and recommend actions.
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw and Lexis, and review documents for litigation.
- Attend and conduct depositions, hearings, and mediations as required.
- Submit court filings and manage time‑sensitive matters.
Required profile
- Admitted to practice in Arizona (additional admissions a plus).
- Discovery and law‑and‑motion experience with state and federal courts.
- Excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical abilities.
- Ability to handle highly sensitive, time‑critical matters with strong organization.
