About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus to coordinate surgical equipment distribution, manage instrument repairs, and oversee vendor loaner sets. The role focuses on safety, efficiency, and quality to support world‑class patient care.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate distribution of surgical equipment and manage vendor loaner sets.
  • Maintain documentation of instrument types, serial numbers and vendor repairs.
  • Lead tray changes, labeling and rebuilding of surgical trays.
  • Process instrument and equipment orders for OR Nurse Managers and SPD leadership.
  • Oversee distribution, collection and preventive maintenance of crash code carts.

Required profile

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician (CSCST) or equivalent certification.
  • Two years of experience in sterile processing, operating room or surgical technology.
  • Ability to assemble instrument trays accurately and inspect instruments.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle.
  • Instrument tray assembly and inspection.
