Instructor, LPN/RN Bridge HRSA

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking a qualified Instructor to lead the LPN/RN Bridge HRSA program. This position combines classroom and clinical teaching to prepare licensed practical nurses and registered nurses for advanced practice roles.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lesson plans for accredited technical and occupational courses.
• Evaluate student progress against curriculum objectives and provide feedback.
• Maintain program supplies, equipment, and budget requests.
• Prepare and submit documentation required for accreditation and state licensing.
• Ensure safety and security standards are met in training environments.
• Collaborate with faculty and adhere to flexible scheduling as needed.

Required profile

• Master’s Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution (or a baccalaureate degree with documented progress toward a graduate degree).
• Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or eligibility for licensure.
• At least three years of professional nursing experience within the past seven years.
• Credentialed to perform administrative and instructional functions mandated by accrediting bodies.

Required skills

• Ability to create and manage curriculum and instructional materials.
• Proficiency in maintaining program documentation and reports.
