Instructor, LPN/RN Bridge (HRSA)

About the role

The State of Georgia, through Southern Crescent Technical College, seeks a qualified Instructor to lead the LPN/RN Bridge program funded by HRSA. This full‑time position combines classroom teaching with clinical supervision, supporting aspiring nurses in advancing their credentials.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lesson plans for technical and occupational nursing courses.
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback aligned with curriculum objectives.
• Maintain program accreditation, licensing documentation, and safety standards.
• Manage classroom and clinical supplies, budgeting, and equipment needs.
• Collaborate with students, faculty, and staff to enhance learning outcomes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution (or a B.S.N. with documented progress toward a graduate degree).
• Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or eligibility for licensure.
• At least three years of professional nursing experience within the past seven years.
• Credentialed to fulfill administrative and instructional duties required by accrediting bodies.
• Preferred: Full‑time teaching or in‑field nursing experience and active participation in professional organizations.
