About the role

The State of Georgia, through Chattahoochee Technical College, seeks a part‑time Adjunct Instructor to teach Welding & Joining Technology in the Appalachian region. The role involves delivering lecture and lab instruction for the Welding Technical Certificate of Credit and/or Diploma program.

Key responsibilities

Conduct classroom lectures and hands‑on lab sessions for welding students.
Advise and mentor students, evaluate their progress, and maintain required documentation.
Set up and take down lab equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Required profile

Minimum Diploma in Welding Technology from a technical or community college.
Preference for an Associate Degree in a related field.
Two years of industry experience in welding or relevant certifications are preferred.
