About the role
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking an Instructional Designer – Multimedia/Training Specialist to develop and deliver faculty training on eLearning technologies, multimedia design, and content creation software. This twelve‑month full‑time position supports faculty in integrating multimedia elements into their courses.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver training sessions on eLearning platforms and multimedia tools for faculty.
- Assist faculty with the implementation of multimedia components in course materials.
- Create instructional resources and guides that promote effective use of learning management systems.
- Collaborate with the eLearning department to ensure alignment with university standards.
Required profile
- Master's degree in instructional design, educational technology, or a related field.
- At least one year of experience in online education.
- Familiarity with higher‑education learning management systems such as Blackboard.
Required skills
- Blackboard (LMS) proficiency.
- Knowledge of eLearning technologies and multimedia design concepts.
