About the role
The Instructional Assistant supports teachers and students in daily classroom activities, field trips, lunch supervision, and sports participation at Balfour Academy.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑on‑one classroom support, distribute materials, and assist with behavior management.
- Assist the Recreational Coordinator with weekly field trips and sports activities, including transporting students to facilities.
- Supervise lunchtime by escorting students to Smith Hall, monitoring behavior, and returning them to class.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings.
