Installation Manager – Skillbridge Internship

About the role

The Installation Manager Skillbridge Intern will lead Renuity’s installation teams, driving install revenue, efficiency, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. The role combines fleet and labor scheduling, project coordination, and system installation oversight for home‑improvement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all‑product installation teams, focusing on revenue targets, KPIs, and first‑time completion rates.
• Schedule installers, coordinate material deliveries, and review project scopes daily.
• Maintain the Job Cost Tracker to identify improvement opportunities and report on performance metrics.
• Manage fleet maintenance, GPS monitoring, vehicle inspections, and compliance with licensing requirements.
• Ensure installations meet local building codes, safety regulations, and Renuity standards.
• Handle customer escalations, confirm satisfaction, and conduct post‑job follow‑ups.
• Monitor department P&L, inventory, and equipment compliance while developing operational projections.
• Train, mentor, and assess installation crews, conduct weekly meetings, and coordinate vendor training.

Required profile

• DOD Skillbridge eligibility: at least 180 days active duty, within 180 days of separation, and commander approval.
• Minimum 2 years team and operations management experience in the home‑improvement industry.
• Supervisory experience managing W‑2 and 1099 installation staff.
• High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Mechanical aptitude including reading electrical schematics, pneumatic systems, and mechanical configurations.
• Lean Six Sigma methodology knowledge.
