About the role
Join Lehigh Valley Health Network as an Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse, providing evidence‑based nursing care on a medical‑surgical unit during night shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Implement medical plans of care, nursing interventions, and procedures for assigned patients.
- Identify patient care problems, communicate them to RNs, and assist with discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date documentation to support the healthcare team.
- Adhere to the scope of practice for LPNs as defined by Pennsylvania regulations.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program with a Pennsylvania LPN license.
- Ability to work night shifts (7 p.m.–7:30 a.m.) on a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift and carry 40‑50 lb, stand/walk for long periods, and perform patient transfers.
Required skills
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification (Pennsylvania).
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Knowledge of hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards.
