Infusion Care Technician

About the role

The Care Technician performs patient care in support of the care team, serving as the first point‑of‑contact for patients and providing regular check‑ins. This role relays information between patients and providers and helps ensure smooth patient flow in the infusion therapy department.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and document patient information, vital signs, and intake/output data in the EMR.
• Prepare exam and procedure rooms, coordinate daily patient flow, and schedule appointments.
• Receive and implement provider instructions and orders accurately.
• Maintain diagnostic and medication logs and ensure infection‑control compliance.
• Assist with patient admission, discharge, and pre‑operative checklist completion.

Required profile

• One year of care technician experience preferred.
• Current certification as EMT, CNA, CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, MAC, or NRCMA in Colorado.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Required skills

• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation.
• Accurate measurement and recording of vital signs.
