Infra and DevOps Intern

About the role

Intel is looking for a DevOps Software Engineering Undergraduate Intern to support its Engineering Computing infrastructure. You will work with experienced IT professionals on server support, automation, monitoring, and deployment workflows, gaining hands‑on experience in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support and help optimize Intel's design environment.
• Assist in automating tasks, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform server capacity planning, and monitor system stability.
• Write scripts and manage source‑control to streamline operational tasks.
• Provide ticket support and resolve technical problems with cross‑functional teams.
• Gain exposure to Windows Server administration and related system‑admin tasks.
• Participate in projects aligned with Intel business goals.

Required profile

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Knowledge of automation and DevOps methodologies.
• Familiarity with scripting languages, especially PowerShell.
• Basic understanding of source‑control management tools.
• Introductory knowledge of Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
• Passion for learning and interest in IT infrastructure stability, availability, and security.
