Information Security and Privacy Intern

About the role

This internship is based onsite at Bosch North America headquarters in Farmington Hills, Michigan, supporting the central information security and privacy team. You will assist with data protection compliance, reporting, and various operational tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and presentations using Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint, consolidating regional data for executive review.
• Manage intake of Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR) and coordinate privacy workshops, training sessions, and related materials.
• Support project coordination activities, including information gathering, task clustering, and progress tracking across workstreams.
• Assist with the rollout and development of internal collaboration platforms and data protection/ information security management tools.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, Data Privacy, Legal or a related field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA, at least 18 years old, and able to work 25+ hours per week onsite.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and authorized to work in the United States.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, especially Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience applying AI or generative AI tools to enhance workflows and reporting.
