Industry Market Manager HI&I

About the role

Brenntag is looking for an Industry Market Manager for the HI&I (Industrial Heat Insulation) industry in the Pacific region. The role aims to achieve sales, gross profit, volume and supplier goals, working through both direct industry seller activities and the generalist sales team of Brenntag Pacific.

Key responsibilities

• Supervisory: support the sales team, including interviewing, hiring and training employees, managing the opportunity pipeline, using Salesforce and planning
• North American team: contribute to the North American HI&I business strategy, represent the team and share best practices across regions
• Sales: set budgets and forecasts for sales, gross profit and volume, develop pricing strategies, build relationships with key customers and work with the Key Accounts team to grow national accounts
• Sales: travel the territory to call on customers, review market analysis and run sales campaigns
• Suppliers: coordinate supplier activities, close target opportunities, meet budget targets with key suppliers and work with the VP of Sales and Marketing on pricing and supplier issues
• Financial: prepare annual goals and budget for the product segment, collaborate with supply chain to improve inventory turns, simplify the product line and promote teamwork across functions

Required profile

• BS degree
• 5+ years of related experience
